Over the summer, I noticed that meetings, brainstorms, and weekly stand-ups would often run overtime across executive, creative, account, or client practices. At work, there is also a culture of professionals sitting in on meetings and brainstorms that they are not directly involved in. Over time, these meetings would begin to start late, run overtime, or go off track, taking up valuable time, meeting room space, and money.
I talked to my manager about making this my side project during my internship and began to gain some understanding creating an application that takes data (salaries + billable hours per position) and visualizes it in a way where people can understand its impact.
